The award-winning project, jointly piloted by Azisa, based in Gijón, and Aren, located in New York, marks a milestone in infrastructure inspection. Azisa brings its expertise in drone-based inspection services, while Aren contributes its advanced AI technology applied to structural management.
The initiative will take place at the "Las Rosillas" Bridge on the RCO, between the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato, Mexico. This project aims to inspect the bridge using drones equipped with various sensors to model the structure and employ AI to identify, classify, and assess the criticality of different types of deterioration. The pilot, involving Abertis experts from Mexico, Chile, Spain, and Italy, will run from October 2024 to January 2025, providing end-to-end industrial inspection services through unmanned vehicles (drones, UGVs, ROVs, and USVs), as well as software tools that generate 2D and 3D data for analyzing damage to concrete and metal structures.
Full inspection by drone of the Rosillas Bridge on the border between the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato.
